Digital Experiences · Custom Web Applications
Software shaped around the way your business runs.
We design and build web applications for work that standard software handles badly: customer portals, internal tools and dashboards, with the right access for each role and a codebase that can keep growing.

Useful when
A shared spreadsheet has become a critical system, staff copy data between tools, customers phone to ask for information a portal could show them, or a packaged product no longer fits.
What we need from you
- The process today, including its workarounds
- Someone who does the work, available to answer questions
- Sample data and access to connected systems
- One decision-maker for scope and sign-off
How it works
From daily work to working software
We start with the people and the data. The screens follow from those.
Roles
Who uses it, and what each person must be able to do
Data
What's stored, who owns it and how long it's kept
Key flows
The few journeys that matter most, prototyped first
Build
Small releases on preview links, with tests
Permissions check
Each role tested against what it shouldn't reach
Launch
Data moved, team trained, monitoring in place
Exception path
Access is wrong
Blocks release until the role is fixed and retested
What kind of application do you need?
Most requests fall into one of these. The right one depends on who uses it and how often.
Customer portal
Customers check orders, documents or requests themselves, instead of phoning or emailing.
Internal tool
Replaces the spreadsheet or chain of messages behind a core process, with approvals and a history.
Operational dashboard
Brings live numbers from several systems into one view, so managers stop assembling reports by hand.
Partner or supplier portal
Gives outside companies controlled access to what they need, and nothing more.
Installable web app
A progressive web app that works on phones and desktops from one codebase, without an app store.
Scope your application
Share the context and we'll help define a sensible first step.

How we approach it
- 1Map the work
- 2Model the data
- 3Design
- 4Build in slices
- 5Test
- 6Launch and hand over
What we check before launch
- Each role tested for what it can and can't see or change
- Main workflows covered by automated tests
- Server-side validation of everything users submit
- Keyboard use and automated accessibility scans, plus manual checks
- Backups restored at least once, not just configured
- Performance measured with realistic amounts of data
A distributor replacing a shared spreadsheet
Illustrative scenario · not a client case studyBefore
- Orders tracked in a spreadsheet several people edit
- Customers phone to ask about delivery status
- Nobody can see who changed what
After
- Goal: each order has one record, one owner and a full history
- Goal: customers check their own status in a portal
- Goal: managers see delays without compiling a report

Questions we're often asked
Should we build or buy?
Buy when a product already fits most of the process. Build when the process is what sets you apart, or when the workarounds cost more than the software would. We'll tell you if an existing product is the better answer.
Who owns the code?
Ownership and licensing are set out in your agreement before work starts, so you know what you'll hold at handover.
Can you take over an application someone else built?
Often, yes. We start with a technical review of the code, data and hosting, then tell you what can be safely continued and what should change.
How long does a custom application take?
It depends on roles, integrations and data migration. We start with the smallest useful version and give a timeline after discovery, tied to a written scope.

What happens next
- 1We read your request and any context you share.
- 2We reply within one business day to arrange a time.
- 3The first conversation focuses on your goals. No preparation or documents needed.
